Yakurai Garden

Yakurai Garden is an exceptionally beautiful, high-altitude landscape flower farm and scenic mountain refuge situated in the rolling foothills of Kami Town in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. Spanning a vast 150,000 square meters—roughly the size of three Tokyo Domes—at the base of the cone-shaped Mount Yakurai, this vibrant sanctuary serves as a major bucket-list destination for flower lovers, eco-tourists, and landscape photographers. The park masterfully transforms the alpine highlands into a colorful, fairytale-like paradise showcasing 400 distinct varieties of cultivated plants and flowers across eight uniquely themed zones. Stepping onto the grounds encloses visitors in pristine mountain air, where cascading terraces of densely packed blossoms create a dreamscape that stretches out toward a panoramic valley horizon.
