Xixi National Wetland Park is a beautiful national wetland park situated in the western part of Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China. Spanning an impressive 1,150 hectares (2,800 acres), the park is home to six primary watercourses, interspersed with numerous ponds, lakes, and swamps.
With a rich history of over 4,000 years, Xixi Wetland boasts a vibrant cultural heritage. It is known as the birthplace of the Chinese South Opera and hosts traditional dragon boat races. The park also showcases the lively atmosphere of a water village, where activities like silkworm feeding and silk production take place.
