This beautiful garden extends over 500 meters toward the Douro River. At the far end, a staircase descends to a charming Romantic lake situated at a lower level. Designed by French architect and landscape gardener Jacques Gréber between 1932 and 1940, he gained fame in the United States and Canada for creating exquisite French-style gardens for affluent clients. The park features several attractions, including the rose garden (currently being restored), the Sundial Garden, and the Camellia Garden, where you can purchase aromatic herbs and plants, along with other meticulously maintained areas throughout the park.
