The garden at Pazo de Mariñán was designed in the early 19th century by a French gardener, likely Mathias Tiebe, and is organized into three distinct areas: ornamental, horticultural, and wooded. Notably, it features the most impressive collection of tree-like myrtles in Galicia, which, along with the Arbutus unedo, recognized as the largest in the region, has been part of the Pazo since the first half of the 19th century.
