History of Laurentia Farm traces back to 1898 when Louw Geldenhuis acquired Laurentia. Originally known as Honingklip, the farm welcomed its first residents in 1918 when Louw’s son, Louw Geldenhuys II, and his wife, Anna, chose to make it their home.
After a devastating hailstorm wiped out all the sheep on the farm, Anna Geldenhuys found herself in a tough spot. To support their family, she began selling freshly picked flowers from their garage. What began as a simple endeavor for a farmer’s wife blossomed into Versilia Roses, a sprawling rose nursery that now spans 10 hectares.
From its modest start with a farmer's wife selling flowers from her garage, Versilia Roses has blossomed into a vast rose nursery covering 10 hectares. This beautiful farm features a diverse selection of roses, fruit trees, flowers, succulents, seedlings, and cacti, all offered at amazing prices. Come and explore their farm in Krugersdorp!
