Jiuzhaigou National Park

Jiuzhaigou National Park is a stunning collection of valleys located in Sichuan province, China. In the northern part, you"ll find the Shuzheng Valley, where the beautiful Nuorilang Waterfall flows down from a large lake surrounded by trees. The Zharu Monastery serves as a spiritual center for the local Tibetan communities. To the south, the Rize Valley boasts mountains blanketed in ancient forests, while the vibrant, multicolored Five Flower Lake features fallen trees resting at its bottom.

Jiuzhaigou Valley, often described as a magical fairytale land, has captivated visitors for years with its stunning mountains, lush forests, vibrant lakes, cascading waterfalls, and rich wildlife. Situated in Nanping County, Jiuzhaigou Valley is approximately 450 kilometers (about 280 miles) north of Chengdu City in Sichuan, covering an impressive area of 720 square kilometers and stretching 50 kilometers in length. In 1992, UNESCO recognized this breathtaking area as a World Natural Heritage site. Known as the Nine Village Valley, Jiuzhaigou is home to nine Tibetan villages, where the communities and alpine lakes resemble shimmering mirrors or exquisite jade stones nestled among the snow-capped mountains and dense forests.
