Jinhae Gunhangje Festival

The Jinhae Gunhangje Festival, often referred to as the "Cherry Blossom Festival," began on April 13, 1952. This event marked the first time residents in Korea unveiled a statue of Admiral Yi Sun-sin at Bukwon Rotary, accompanied by a memorial ceremony in his honor.

The Jinhae Gunhangje Festival takes place in the Jungwon Rotary area and downtown Jinhae, honoring the beautiful cherry blossoms. The festival features a range of activities, including a pre-event, cultural shows, a military display, and much more.
