Jardin du Luxembourg

Jardin du Luxembourg (Luxembourg Garden) is a beautiful urban park located in Paris. It was established in 1612 at the behest of Maria de" Medici, designed to encircle the Palais du Luxembourg. In the early 19th century, Jean-François-Thérèse Chalgrin undertook a restoration of the park. Since that time, it has been owned by the French Senate.

The peaceful atmosphere of the park draws in numerous students throughout the week, who often gather by the pond to study or read. However, on weekends, particularly Sundays, the park becomes a lively space for families with children. They enjoy playing with small sailing boats at the pond.
