Historical Garden Schoonoord

Historical Garden Schoonoord (in Dutch Historische Tuin Schoonoord) in Rotterdam is a significant part of the city"s green legacy, boasting a diverse array of plant and animal species. Originally designed in the English landscape style, this former country estate has been recognized as a protected national monument due to its historical significance, unique location, and distinctive flora. The garden is home to impressive Lebanon cedars and a Brown Beech from the 1860s, as well as a variety of plant species, a lush pond, and diverse wildlife, including bee colonies, Japanese carp, kingfishers, and a tawny owl.
