Raixa is particularly famous for the beautiful gardens that envelop the house, cascading down the southern slopes of sa Muntanyeta. At the base, you"ll find the orchards, the “dels Tarongers” garden, the “de la Galería” garden featuring a central fountain, and the “d´Entrada” garden, which includes a charming little pond. A notable highlight is the entrance gate, constructed in 1898, adorned with the coat of arms of Count Ramon Despuig i Fortuny, who sold Raixa to entrepreneur Antoni Jaume in 1910.
The upper gardens are designed around a grand staircase dedicated to the god Apollo, possibly honoring four muses associated with poetry. As you continue along a beautifully landscaped path, you"ll encounter faux ruins, a large pond, a grotto, a historic pavilion, a small chapel, and a shrine perched at the highest point, dating back to 1854.
