Connecticut Flower & Garden Show. Every February, the Connecticut Convention Center welcomes the arrival of spring! Stroll through stunningly landscaped gardens brimming with lush greenery and check out the design and horticulture competition hosted by the Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut. Plus, enjoy more than 80 hours of seminars and demonstrations covering a wide range of topics.
Event Highlights:
Expansive Live Gardens: Over 150,000 square feet of beautifully landscaped gardens in full bloom, featuring naturalistic, low-maintenance, native, container, vegetable, organic, herb, and pollinator gardens.
Expert Seminars & Demonstrations: More than 80 hours of free seminars and demonstrations led by horticulturalists, landscapers, and industry professionals, including ecologist Doug Tallamy and organic gardener Nancy DeBrule Clemente.
Federated Garden Clubs of Connecticut’s Annual Standard Flower Show: A 12,500-square-foot exhibition featuring design, horticulture, botanical arts, and photography competitions, all themed “Signs of Spring.”
Diverse Exhibitors: Hundreds of booths offering plants, garden tools, outdoor furniture, handcrafted gifts, and unique items like “Rent-a-Chicken” services.
