Bergius Botanic Garden
Welcome to the Bergius Botanic Garden! Nestled by Brunnsviken, an inlet of the Baltic Sea, this beautiful garden is a cherished part of the city’s national park, safeguarded by law to maintain its natural and cultural heritage for generations to come. The main aim of the Bergius Botanic Garden is to enhance education and research on plant diversity, but it also serves as a lovely recreational area and a treasure trove of botanical knowledge for all who visit. With roots dating back to the 18th century, the garden is currently owned and operated by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and Stockholm University.
