Babylonstoren

Babylonstoren is one of the oldest farms in the Cape Dutch style. It boasts a stunning and diverse garden filled with fruits and vegetables, unique accommodations, exquisite food and wine, and an overall sense of wellness. Surrounded by the majestic Simonsberg, Du Toitskloof, and Franschhoek mountains, the garden at Babylonstoren is truly breathtaking. Established in 1692, this historic fruit and wine farm experienced a transformation a decade ago when it came under the stewardship of former magazine editor Karen Roos. Her love for the traditional Cape Dutch aesthetic inspired a restoration that beautifully blends authenticity with modernity, ensuring the farm's legacy continues into the future.
