Established in 1492 by the noble Gučetić family, the Trsteno Arboretum is the oldest collection of cultivated flora in Croatia and one of the oldest in the world. This 28-hectare Renaissance masterpiece, located just north of Dubrovnik, seamlessly blends a historic park, a lush forest, and a stunning 15th-century villa, famously serving as a filming location for the “Red Keep” gardens in Game of Thrones.
