Manial Palace Museum

The Manial Palace Museum is not only an architectural wonder but a living botanical archive, home to one of the most exotic royal plant collections in the Middle East. Prince Mohamed Ali Tewfik, a passionate traveler and botanist, transformed his estate into a lush sanctuary where rare global flora frames the golden walls of his palace.

 Highlights:

🌺 Global Floral Sanctuary – The palace grounds span 14 acres and function as a “Living Museum,” featuring rare tropical flowers and trees imported from across the globe. From giant climbing bougainvillea to exotic water lilies, the garden was meticulously designed to bloom in a symphony of colors that complement the palace’s turquoise tilework.

🌵 The Cactus & Tropical Collection – A major centerpiece is the specialized cactus garden, which houses dozens of unique succulent species and flowering desert plants. These are interspersed with century-old palms and fragrant citrus trees, creating a micro-climate that has preserved these rare botanical specimens for over 120 years.
