Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is one of the most iconic botanical gardens in the world, set against the dramatic backdrop of Table Mountain in Cape Town.

Founded in 1913, it was the first botanical garden dedicated to cultivating and preserving native flora, with a strong focus on South Africa’s unique plant biodiversity.

Spectacular Mountain Setting – Located on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, offering one of the most dramatic garden landscapes globally.

🌸 Biodiversity & Scale – Home to over 6,000 plant species, representing the richness of South Africa’s floral kingdom.

🌉 Tree Canopy Walkway (Boomslang) – A curved steel-and-timber walkway rising above the trees, offering panoramic views of the gardens.
