Zundert Children’s Parade (Kindercorso Zundert). The kids of Zundert host their very own parade! Each September, a vibrant procession winds its way through the streets of Zundert, featuring both small and large flower floats crafted by the children, with a bit of assistance from their parents. The little ones are nurtured by their mothers, and this children’s parade serves as a fantastic introduction to the larger event, drawing immense popularity. Annually, around a thousand children take part, showcasing several hundred floats.
Event Highlights:
Kids Parade: Over 800 children (ages 4–14) create and present 200+ flower floats.
Creative Workshops: Hands-on sessions for painting, flower cutting, and float building in the weeks leading up to the event.
Dahlia Magic: Floats are decorated entirely with real dahlia flowers, showcasing incredible craftsmanship.
Awards Ceremony: Honors the best floats with prizes like the Zilveren Dahlia (Silver Dahlia) and figurant awards.
Eco-Friendly: Recyclable rPET cup system with returnable tokens and proper waste bins throughout the venue.
