Expoflora Holambra

Expoflora is a one-of-a-kind flower and ornamental plant exhibition in Latin America, taking place every year in Holambra, a name that blends Holland, America, and Brazil. This event marks the arrival of spring and is distinct from a typical fair, as its purpose extends beyond sales; it aims to showcase the stunning flowers and ornamental plants cultivated by over 400 local producers. Holambra, once a Dutch colony, is now a vibrant city with just over 12,000 residents, yet it stands as the largest hub for flower cultivation and sales in Brazil, contributing to around 50% of the industry’s sales. Producers take advantage of this platform to introduce new flower and plant varieties, set landscaping and decoration trends, and gauge consumer preferences.

Highlights:

Floral spectacle: Over 4,000 varieties across ~300 species in exhibitions of floral arrangements, gardens, and centerpiece displays.

Parade of Flowers with floats and folk costumes leading into the breathtaking Chuva de Pétalas—a stunning floral rain that showers visitors with rose petals.

Magic Garden Tour: A 20,000 m² immersive flower garden featuring sculptural installations and expansive plantings—tickets sold separately.
