Welton House Gardens is a Garden of National Importance. It is perched atop an ancient dune and encircled by neatly arranged vineyard rows, Welton House Garden beautifully blends modern design with a rich 150-year heritage. Owner Wendy Palmer, alongside her garden designer brother Ross, has crafted a haven for plant enthusiasts, showcasing both rare horticultural gems and innovative uses of familiar plants. Notable features include intricate and expansive topiary hedges that echo the breathtaking Richmond Ranges, as well as striking, oversized wooden steps, platforms, and pergolas that anchor the garden in its surroundings. The thriving kitchen garden, orchard, and large-scale composting efforts embody the garden"s commitment to sustainability.
