Omaka Lodge

At the end of a picturesque, tree-lined driveway, you'll find Omaka Lodge, nestled among its stunning, mature gardens. Perched on a hilltop, it boasts breathtaking views of Herlihy’s Bluff and Mount Hikurangi, offering a serene escape with complete privacy.

The garden is divided into several unique sections, such as The Champagne Lawn, The Water Garden, The Wedding Garden, The Dell, The Woodland, and The Secret Garden, each with its own distinct charm.

Surrounding the Lodge are numerous large, mature trees that create a beautiful framework for the gardens. You'll discover a variety of Rhododendrons, Camellias, Azaleas, and Maples, along with other remarkable species, including a rare Fern-Leaved Beech and a striking yellow Gleditsia, which stands proudly next to a 75-year-old Kalmia.
