International Garden Festival

Reford Gardens, or Jardins de Métis, are located on the south bank of the St. Lawrence River, just northeast of Quebec City. These beautiful gardens were brought to life by Elsie Reford, who from 1926 to 1958, turned an old fishing camp and surrounding forest into a stunning array of gardens. This enchanting location serves as a wonderful backdrop for the annual International Garden Festival, which has been showcasing more than 250 gardens and installations from designers across 15 countries since 2000. Renowned for its creativity, activism, and artistic vision, the festival attracts participants from various fields.
