The Rose Festival Kazanlak is one of the most iconic floral and cultural events in Europe, held annually in the heart of Bulgaria’s famous Rose Valley.
Dating back to 1903, the festival celebrates the blooming of the Rosa Damascena—the oil-bearing rose that has become a national symbol and a cornerstone of Bulgaria’s perfume industry.
Taking place from May to early June, the festival transforms the region into a living celebration of flowers, tradition, and heritage, attracting thousands of visitors from around the world.
