Gurye Sansuyu Festival

The Gurye Sansuyu Festival celebrates the blooming of bright yellow sansuyu (cornelian cherry) flowers, one of the earliest signs of spring in Gurye County, South Korea. Held every March near the foothills of Jirisan National Park, the festival transforms traditional villages and valleys into vibrant yellow landscapes. Visitors can walk scenic flower trails, enjoy cultural performances, and experience local traditions centered around the sansuyu fruit.
