Palace of Lourizán

Palace of Lourizán

In what is now known as Granxa da Serra, the precursor to the later Pazo, there was an area surrounding the house that served as a garden or park. This space features beautiful magnolias and camellias, which were planted between 1840 and 1850, creating a lovely atmosphere around the pazo. The fountains, positioned around the main building, include one that dates back to 1802, while the granary was built in 1789. The pazo itself was constructed at the turn of the 20th century, and the garden is further enhanced by notable features such as a greenhouse, a stone table, Rías park, and the cave of mirrors.
