Held annually in the historic Jesuit mission town of Concepción in the Chiquitania region, this festival honours the region’s vibrant orchid biodiversity, especially the locally-famed Cattleya nobilior (symbol of the region) and other native species.
During three days of October the town becomes a spectacle of floral displays, cultural traditions, music and dance — all centred on orchids and nature
Highlights:
🌼 Orchid Exhibitions & Native Flora – See diverse orchids and learn about their ecology and cultural significance in the region.
🎶 Cultural Fusion – Baroque music concerts, typical dances, textile displays and festival rituals intertwining nature with the Jesuit mission heritage.
🍃 Nature & Exploration – Explore the mission town, its surrounding jungle and botanical areas — ideal for flower and nature lovers.
🎨 Photographic Magic – With orchids, tropical greenery and mission architecture, this is a great setting for floral photography, design inspiration and floral sourcing ideas.
