Singapore Botanic Gardens

The Singapore Botanic Gardens, situated near the Orchard Road shopping district in Singapore, is a 165-year-old tropical garden. It holds the prestigious title of being the only tropical garden among the three gardens recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The National Orchid Garden, situated in the main gardens, leads the way in orchid research and is a trailblazer in developing hybrid orchids, which adds to the country"s reputation as a significant exporter of cut orchids. With the help of the equatorial climate, it boasts the largest orchid collection, with 1,200 species and 2,000 hybrids.

The Singapore Botanic Gardens receives 4.5 million visitors each year.
