Spanning 94,000 m², the park features over 350 wisteria trees, including the 150-year-old Great Wisteria, a Tochigi Prefecture-designated natural treasure .​

A fantastic spot to admire wisteria flowers is the Ashikaga Flower Park. A magnificent wisteria tree, aged 100 years, boasts branches that form a sprawling canopy of stunning blue wisteria blossoms. Nearby, a lengthy tunnel adorned with white wisteria flowers captivates visitors, while a tunnel of yellow kingusari is still a few years away from reaching its full potential. Additionally, you can admire the Yae-fuji variety, known for its abundance of petals.
